The University of Edinburgh Journal was founded in 1925, and is published by the University of Edinburgh Graduates' Association. It has a long and proud tradition of publishing creative, personal, and scholarly writing by students and alumni of the University. As the Journal approaches its centenary in 2025, we would like to strengthen our relationship with the student body and provide more opportunities for students to publish with the Journal and participate in its production.

Matriculated students can use their student e-mail address to sign up to recieve a PDF copy of each issue of the Journal for free. If you would like to sign up, please fill in the form below.

Students can also contact our Editorial Team directly at gradassoc@ed.ac.uk to sign up or to make a submission to the Editor. All submissions will be considered for publication in a future issue of the Journal, and can take the form of long or short essays, personal reflections, creative writing, or reviews of books or other media.
